Reading this great book in its 60th year is really a different experience. I can see, how accurate Bradbury’s predictions about future world and society.
Imagine a world, which is a police “firefigter” state, firefighters stopped fighting fires and they become firestarters. They are setting books on fire for censoring the thoughts. By censoring books, they can change the past and reshape current society and the future. Also they are using televison for imposing governments ideas to create an obedient society.
Main character of the book is Guy Montag who whose job is firefigher and burning the books. One day he mets an inquisitive girl and she changes Montag’s ideas.
The story tells a dystopian future and Montag’s struggle to change the society.
