Kenobi

Kenobi was written by John Jackson Miller and published in August 27, 2013 by LucasBooks.

This novel is set between the events of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV A New Hope.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is trying to protect Luke Skywalker in the desert planet Tatooine. Actually he does not want to interfere to any event in the Tatooine, but eventually he finds himself in a war between the humans of Tatooine and the Tuskens.

I’ve learned many things about Tuskens while reading this book. He tells A’Sharad Hett’s story as a back-story.

The characterization is great, may be Kenobi is an effect on this part. But also I like the other characters. This was my first book on Star Wars universe, if you like the movies you will probably like to read more about Kenobi.

I try to rate plot, characterization, style, setting and entertainment separately and take the average of these for overall rating. The overall rating is 3.6 which translates, it is between “liked it” and “really liked it”.
